Wells Fargo Championship - Charlotte, NC

The 2024 Wells Fargo Championship is set to take place from May 9 to May 12 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. This tournament is recognized as one of the eight signature events on the PGA Tour, highlighting its elevated status which includes an increased prize purse and a smaller, no-cut field.

The field for this year's championship is notably star-studded, featuring top golfers such as Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, and despite the withdrawal of Ludvig Aberg due to a knee injury, many other prominent players are expected to compete.

Rory McIlroy, a three-time winner of the event, enters as the betting favorite with odds of 15-2. He is closely followed by Xander Schauffele at 10-1, and despite Aberg's withdrawal, other contenders like defending champion Wyndham Clark are also highly anticipated. The tournament will not feature a cut, allowing all competitors to play 72 holes of stroke play, which is 18 more than their counterparts on the LIV breakaway tour.

Quail Hollow Club, hosting the tournament for the 19th time, is a par-71, 7,521-yard course known for its challenging layout, including the notorious 'Green Mile' stretch comprising holes 16 to 18. Cognizant Founders Cup - Clifton, NJ

The 2024 Cognizant Founders Cup on the LPGA Tour is scheduled to take place from May 9-12 at the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, New Jersey.This tournament, now in its 13th edition, celebrates the legacy of the 13 founding members of the LPGA Tour, who established the association in 1950. It has become a significant event in women's professional golf, both for its competitive field and its role in honoring the history of women's golf.

The tournament is played over 72 holes with a standard stroke play format. There is a cut after the first 36 holes (two rounds).

The event features a $3 million purse, one of the largest on the LPGA Tour outside of the major championships and the CME Group Tour Championship.

The tournament will feature a strong lineup of competitors, including all five winners of the 2024 LPGA Tour season events to date: Nelly Korda, Hannah Green, Lydia Ko, Bailey Tardy, and Patty Tavatanakit. The Myrtle Beach Classic is a new PGA TOUR event making its debut from May 9-12, 2024, at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This tournament marks the first PGA TOUR event in Myrtle Beach's history and the first major professional golf tournament in the Grand Strand in the past 24 years. Myrtle Beach, known as the "Golf Capital of the World," hosts this event, further solidifying its reputation as a premier golf destination.

The tournament is part of the PGA TOUR's 2024 FedExCup Regular Season schedule and features a purse of $3.9 million, with 300 FedExCup points awarded to the champion.The field for the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic includes a mix of seasoned and emerging talents, with 38 PGA Tour winners participating, including notable players like Erik van Rooyen and Brandt Snedeker. Despite some top players participating in the concurrent $20 million Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, the Myrtle Beach Classic boasts a deep talent pool.
